Arr, your pirate is measured by their cunning, treasure, and infamy.
You can use your cunning to acquire treasure.
Acquiring treasure increases your infamy.
And infamy brings problems, which you will need cunning to overcome.
What are you waiting for you scalawag!? Heave ho and weigh anchor!
This game features:
- A consistent, flexible resolution system for cunning piracy
- A ship-on-ship combat system for deadly naval duels
- Compelling, narrative-based character advancement
- Processes for dynamically generating pirate maps and treasure
- A mini-game for drinking and wenching
- Random tables for game master support
- A solo-play oracle, to tell your personal pirate epic
This game was created for the Minimalist TTRPG Jam 4.
- I attempted to design this game under the Hard Mode conditions
- The entire-ruleset is under 1,000 words
- The game contains no pictures, drawings, or diagrams.
- There are no headers or formatting and the game is distributed as a .txt file.
